I have had a commitment to woodworking since 1974. In the years between then and now, although I have done other jobs from time to time, woodworking has been my passion.
Always, designing and building things from wood has been something I have enjoyed learning from. It seems to me that every project has something to teach. This is one of the reasons I love working wood.
The beauty of wood and the diversity of grain and color and texture are also reasons I never tire of wood working.
For the last ten years my wife and I have lived and worked on a plateau near the confluence of the Snake and the Salmon Rivers. These two rivers have carved deep rugged incredible canyons through the mountains of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. It has been a privilege to be able to enjoy living and doing woodworking here in this country.
From my shop here just above Hells Canyon, I build custom wood doors, furniture, cabinetry, mantels and other items. I work with clients to make something especially for them of absolutely the finest quality, and made to last for generations. I use traditional joinery methods and a wide variety of domestic and imported woods.
If you are interested in woodworking and beautiful wood, hopefully you will find something here to capture your imagination and spirit.
